What Makes This Brand Unique: The company is co-founded by Corey Poches and Kelly Hondros a duo whose family has been farming in the midwest for years. When they decided to launch a CBD company, they knew they wanted to grow their hemp as well. In addition to 100% complete transparency about their sourcing and production methods, they test each and every batch of products through a third party to ensure that it’s pure, safe, and free from toxins and heavy metals. These test results called the “certificate of analysis,” are available on the company’s site from the product pages or by scanning the QR code on the products themselves.
Topicals: A Roll-On Relief Serum is a customer favorite at $59.99. It is super-charged with 1000mg CBD Isolate and powerful essential oils, It comes from Hemp grown and processed in the US and the serum is THC-free, safe, and completely legal. The company also makes creams and balms to ease away chronic aches and discomfort the natural way with pure & powerful ingredients that actually work. For example, I have a friend who suffers from MS and she tried it on her wrists and was really pleased with the results.
Tinctures: The company has tinctures available in 500mg, 1000mg and 1500mg full spectrum CBD options. The fresh mint flavor helps hide the “earthy” taste that can make some hemp tinctures unpalatable. We tried the 1000mg that retails at $69.99. It was effective and tasty.
Fruit Chews: We also tried the CBD fruit chews that retail for $7.99 for a grab & go pack. We didn’t find these as effective as the tincture. They also tasted a little earthy. Maybe a good choice for a new consumer? Or maybe because we are regular CBD users, the chews weren’t strong enough.
Kits: The company has put together several kits like the Rest & Recovery CBD Gift Set that retails for $49.99. A great idea for someone in your life who is sporty and wants to try out a collection of CBD products. The company also suggests layering the CBD products for optimum relief.
Another unique way the company helps consumers decide on which products to buy is by offering a way to shop by benefit. Rest, Recovery, Relaxation, or Relief are the options. For example, if you are an athlete, the recovery suggestions include a sports cream, muscle & joint support capsules, and tinctures. This is a great way for consumers to figure out which products would be best.
The Takeaway
As an active person, I found the tinctures to be very helpful. The roll-on was also super helpful for a strained muscle. The product line seems geared toward people who live an active lifestyle, but well suited for just about anyone. The prices are reasonable especially considering this is coming from an American family farm. Plus, it feels good to support a family-run business and it’s great to know who is growing the hemp you are ingesting.
